As of July 2020, Chateau le Bedou located in Bordeaux, the cultural capital of France, will present an opportunity to explore the creativity of your children at İsmail Acar Summer Art Camp.
In this program, the artist İsmail Acar and the world-famous artists, educators, art historians and art theoreticians from a wide range of art disciplines under the management of Mr. Acar will contribute to the development of children in specifically-designed short programs.
It is significant to use the 5 senses consciously and perceive the things sensed in an accurate and smooth way. To this end, children should have experience in various fields because children use an incident, object, sense or individual from the daily life while they perform art (painting, sculpture, drama, theater, dance etc.). The fact that children observe their surroundings and learn personal lives provides knowledge for them.
Our children in the period of education have insatiable desire for knowledge in the emotional perspective. They are affected by shapes and details. They astonishingly watch an ant walking on the ground, a fruit hanging on a tree branch, a lion in the cage or water that drops from the melting ice. Therefore, these and similar exciting experiences should be known and supported by adults.
The role of adults should be to assist children to recognize the details and learn a wide range of objects and concepts by using their five senses. The purpose of İsmail Acar Summer Camp is to enable children to experience and provide them with art education at practical workshops as well as to teach how your children can use their five senses accurately.
Chateau le Bedou Summer Art Camp also aims to make sure that the children that grow by learning art and artists are familiarized with other artistic movements and use such knowledge in line with their own perceptions (realistic art, virtual art, surrealistic art, conceptual art, current art etc.). The children that know art and artists can learn how to view and interpret their own works and also the works of artistis.
